Tail rot or dark tail??

My beardie steve is about 8 months old and I’m worried that his tail might be tail rot can someone please help me with this? Thank you so much!!

Is there an injury? Did it get nipped by another dragon or pinched somewhere?

No I am super careful with him, i don’t believe it’s ever gotten pinched or hurt.

Ok so I am gonna have AHBD look at it --- she can spot stuff better than I but I am gonna throw out here that its possibly just shed --- but I want her to look at it for sure ---

Definitely not tail rot. Dragons tail tips often darken or are dark especially depending on the environment or situation they are in. EG. Stress can darken their tails just like it cause cause stress marks on their bellies.

Thank you! This is a better photo of it today. Normally I make sure he shed completely. I’m not sure if I missed something and this is stuck shed or if his tail is just dark.
