Studly Dudley! ♥ *Massive Picture Overload 7/30*

My dad just randomly came home with him! He is cutest thing ever, and has tons of chub! He just dived into his salad!
Hes 2 years old, 15-17 in. long (has pretty good sized nip) and 442 grams... Dyed from red sand, so I cant see his colors.

Yup, it's FINALLY done! I'm pretty proud of it, and it looks rather awesome if I do say so myself! Including the viv itself, the silicone to seal it, and all the new light fixtures, it cost under $120 and it's worth every penny!
I've honestly never seen such a huge change in a pet before when moving them to a new cage. Dudley is SO much happier, it's ridiculous! He is constantly his pretty "happy colors", and he has a pure white belly and beard. Not a single stress mark, and no relocation stress what so ever. :shock: He is still eating well and everything, even ate his salad the say after I moved him it. He has been super active too.
I don't think I'll ever house a beardie in a 40 gallon again, I can see now that it's just too small.

Exploring his new cage! He enjoys climbing up his log to his basking tile, launching himself across the cage, and repeating the process.

He likes to prop himself up like this and creep on me.

And here is was my room ended up looking like. I used to have all my tanks on the untility shelf on the opposite wall of my room. Not only are utility shelf great for fish tank stands, they can be desks too! Haha!

Wow! Wow! Wow! It looks amazing! Dudley looks so happy, and his colors are awesome, he's so beautiful. You did such a good job fixing it up.

Btw is the substrate the non adhesive Linoleum? Looks great.

I just wanna say that Dudley has the (2nd) most adorable face I have ever seen on a beardie (of course I am biased to Nemesis :wink: )

@NightmareDisco: Pfffft, we'll see about that. Sounds like we need to have an adorableness war, LOL. :lol: Nemesis is pretty darn cute, but I'm a litttle biased as well! Haha.

Dudley was a little grumpy today though, he wasn't as happy colored as before. :| We are having pretty crappy weather, so that might be part of it. Either that, or he is upset because he had an audience during cricket time today (My grandparents came and EVERYONE watched him eat, and he is usually pretty private about his meal times, poor thing) or the relocation stress is finally hitting him. He had 2 blueberries today though. He get's really excited about them because I roll them towards him, and he's like "OMG, it's ALIVEEEE!" and gobbles it up LOL!

I think I need to block off the back corner under his tile though, because he is spending too much time there. I might add his branch from his old cage too, so he has another way to get up on his platform.

Well Dudley, if you beardies would be less cute and interesting then we humans would not pay so much attention to you during meals! Also, I want to see video of the blueberries. That sounds adorable!

Haha OK, maybe another day. I have a squash video I'll post though! The fruit here is actually good now that it's spring, so Dudley's has been getting a bit of it and he's probaby on a sugar rush right now, LOL. He just inhaled some watermelon, his all time fave!

I gave him another branch, and he sat on it instead of hiding all day, so that's good. I put him up on his tile and he is basking now. I'm just paranoid he isn't getting enough UVB since he likes being under the tile all day. Sigh. :|

I think the Beautiful Dragons chart thingy says they can have watermelon? Dudley seriously likes his watermelon even more than his supers!
