So smelly poop is a bad thing..

We've only had our lizard for two days now, he pooped a slimey poo that really stank. From what I've been reading on the board, this isn't a good thing and he may have parasites?
i'm really bummed.

How does his health seem usually? I ask this because, usually unless they are really sick, you should wait for two weeks after getting your dragon to have a vet check and fecal done. The reason for this is relocation stress can make their coccidia level higher than normal and that will go down as they get used to you and their new home.

You would have to define smelly, LOL The poop stinks healthy or sick. It is just worse when they are sick. If it has a good consistancy, I wouldn't worry.

lol i know poop stinks, but it stank up the whole room.
he pooped again today, wasn't nearly as stinky as last time. only smelled when i was near(cleaning it up) and it was more solid.
As for his health, I'm no pro, but he seems well to me. He's basking, he eats his crickets and fruit. He sleeps at night.
