Hi everyone, these are pictures of my beardie’s (6yrs, F) poop taken at 5 seperate days over the span of June-August). I’ve noticed that my beardie’s poop has been more watery than usual (there’s usually a bit of water surrounding the poop, but this is excessive). On a few days there has been a semi-opaque mucous/film surrounding the poop itself (1st, 2nd and 4th example). There is one day where she had really liquid poop (3rd example). There is one day where her poop had a milky substance (5th example). All the photos groups are in chronological order. These abnormalities have repeated occasionally over the past few months, especially the mucousy poop, but her poop has just mostly been liquidy over the past few months.

I’m really concerned, since I’ve read online that mucous in poop and excessive liquid could mean parasites. Would appreciate some input on what these abnormalities could mean.

Her daily diet comprises of a mix of broccoli, green beans, cilantro, bell peppers, carrots, sugar snap peas, red cabbage, and cabbage. I put a generous coating of calcium with D3 every day. I haven’t fed her any bugs (dead or live) in a couple weeks, and I realize our mistake so I plan to put her on a regular bug schedule very soon. UVB is an Arcadia 12% over a mesh screen. Basking spot is 9-10 inches away and 45 C. It’s a rope hammock and she usually stays on the platform a few inches under it (moving away from the lighting) She poops every day and eats a few bites of her meal every 1-3 days (usually her favorites of bell pepper, cilantro, green beans, sugar snap peas).

She seems calm (not the same energy as when we got her to 5 years old) but doesn’t seem lethargic. She seems generally a healthy weight but has been more on the thin side over the past month. She black beards occasionally when annoyed, like when handled. I’ve noticed her occasionally shaking when moving, like she’s struggling to move. She had issues with eggs in the past (produced a clutch 2 years ago and couldn’t lay them, reabsorbed them, and produced another clutch last summer. I haven’t brought her to the vet to check on the status of the second clutch). She had mild signs of a possible respiratory inflection (gulping, wheezing) last spring, which has cleared up.

The poop looks fine - the extra water just means shes hydrated-- please get the Arcadia moved into the tank - 12-15 inches directly over the basking decor piece for a tank that is 18-24" high-- screens block approx 30% of the UVB rays - next please NO more cabbage red cabbage broccoli - please NO more coating heavily on the calcium D3 she only needs it once a week and lightly coated you dont want to over in toxic her --- and please start feeding her insects at least 2 -3 times per week
ignore the kale info its out dated and a good staple Nutrition Content
