Yes, quite normal apparently 
Mine started doing that when i got him and was concerned, but was quickly assured by the BD forum its alright! search the forum for funny sleeping pictures there are some really funny ones!

Oh yes, haha. There is a sleeping thread around here somewhere with pictures of how our beardies sleep in all sorts of crazy positions! Doc sleeps on his rock and hugs it. Sometimes he gets on top of it and presses one hand against the glass and goes to sleep. It's hilarious.
Here's a pic of him hugging his rock the other day LOL. I swear that thing is like his teddy bear!
