sand box ?

I know they can not live in sand but can i put a sand box in her cage? that way she can dig and play in it ? i have seen some pics with a little sand in one side . i would love to do this now that she is bigger.

I wanted to do.the same thing, and after a bit of digging around on this site decided to use alfalfa based rabbit pellets for her to dig on, that way its digestable if she accidentally swallows it!
Here's a pic of Lady investigating her digging area the day we made it, she was so cute, just spent ages digging then looking over as if to say 'hey guys look what I got!'

I've also been wanting to make a sand box! It seems like the pellets would also be a lot easier to clean up since I assume quite a bit can be kicked out of the box. Is there anything special that you can do to make it more usable for the dragon? Like a certain depth works best or maybe where in the cage it is placed?

Yeah they are easy to clean, cause she does like to scatter and redecorate her viv occasionally! I'm not really sure about doing anything special, Lady's is in the cool side of her viv and is about an inch and a half deep and she seems to get on great with that. We weren't really sure how to make it so we just wondered around b&q until we found something we thought might work for the edges, so we didn't really have a depth or anything planned!

Ooh also, I've read that the pellets need to be changed if they get wet cause they can go mouldy.
