Hey everybody! My name is Jessie. I'm 16 and have been in love with beardies since I was a little girl. Due to financial issues (and the fact my mom hates anything scally) I could never get one. Until this year. I finally got a job, allowing me to buy my first bearded dragon! With out further ado I give you ROUGE!

I rescued her from a very poorly cared for petsmart. She was in a 10 gallon tank with woodchip bedding, and they only fed her like 5 large crickets once a week. It was awful!!!!!!! It was love at first sight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I took her home. She was a little fire cracker. She didn't have one second of relocation stress and she warmed up to me on like the third day. She's currently sleeping on my shoulder. I've had her for two months now and I couldn't be happier!!

Hi, glad you're doing better. And I'm also glad you don't have cancer. Rogue is beautiful, she looks nice and healthy like my Nim. My Nim is being the sleepy one now. But he still has appetite.

Thank you! I've been a little sick and depressed lately, but hopefully my meds get that straightened out. I'm glad Nim is doing good. Have you posted anymore pictured? I'd love to see some. I'm getting ready to get my second beardie soon. I can't wait! I want to get him from a breeder. Do you know of any trusted ones? I want some sort of red morph.

Hey guys. Everything is going great here. I looked up beardie breeders on google and I found A-1 reptiles. They had some beautiful beardies, but this little guy is the one I want. It was love at first sight. He's a 12 inch male orange german giant blood beared dragon.

Well I got a name picked out a name for my male leopard gecko (when the time comes IDC when) David Tennant and yes I am a weirdo for naming
a gecko after the 10th Dr. :lol:

I think that's a great name for your gecko. I can't steal it though!

That's great. I'm glad it didn't last long. I've been in and out of depression since 7th grade. It sucks. I don't really ever feel like doing anything. A-1 seemed to be pretty trusted. I checked online for reviews. I just wish I could ask them to hold him for me, until I saved up the money.

This is officially the worst day of my life!!!!! I live in public housing, so pets are limited. About a week ago my mom called and asked if we were aloud to have animals in cages. They said yes. They never said that reptiles weren't aloud. Well they came to do inspections today. And the lady flipped when she saw Rogue. She started yelling at us saying the reptiles weren't aloud in the buildings. I have no idea what to do. My dad said they're going to try to fight it so I can keep her, but there's no promises. I may have to rehome my baby. I feel like my heart is being torn out! My mom said I could get another pet, like a rabit or a bird or a hamster or a ferrett. What are any of those animals compared to Rogue, or any beardie. I'm so mad at the lady that lied to us. If she had told us that we weren't aloud to have her I would have hid her. I think I'm going to be sick.

Oh wow...that bites...I won't let anyone make me get rid of Vash IDC if they threw me on the street. I'd rehome my baby if it came to being out on
the street. I guess they'd win if I rehomed because of the street...:/ but I'm really sorry hun, I hope you can keep her. *hugs you tight*

How sad! You shouldn't have to give up your baby. I'll pray that you'll be able to keep her. And if you did re home her, she may die of heartbreak because she has bonded with you. You're her mommy and you should fight for her. I know I would. Good luck, and you'll be in my prayers until you get it straightened out.

I am appalled at how unprofessional the lady was acting. if animals in cages were alright they should have specified in your agreement about reptiles. I use to live in public housing as well and date specified what was and was not allowed Pet wise. I do hope you get to keep your baby. I will keep you in my prayers. best of luck to you and your case.

Ah, but they didn't. They didn't say you could, but they didn't say you couldn't. You need a copy of the signed agreement. If there's nothing in the contract about exotic pets, then you can fight it. I'm very sorry to hear all of this

Years ago, my parents lived in "geared to income housing" They were allowed 2cats, but owned 3 and loved them all dearly. The people who inspected the units had to give 24hrs notice, so the day before, mom and dad gave the one cat (the same one every time) to a friend of theirs. Just an idea, I don't know how it works where you are.
