Recommend fixture for reptisun 10.0 tube

Can anyone recommend a fixture for me, it would be a great help

You might want to include the length of the bulb. When i purchased my 18inch reptisun bulb the package said what fixture it would fit with.

Yeah the size of the tank and the size of the bulb will help determine the size of the fixture. Is the bulb you have a high output or standard output bulb?

Your 55 gal is probably around 36'' long and 18'' deep, correct? The bulb you linked is a T8, so you'll want a T8 fixture. I'd go with at least the 24'' bulb and fixture. If you are mounting the bulb on top of the tank (through mesh) then I suggest cutting the mesh in front of the bulb to allow all of the UVB through tot he basking area. Otherwise, I suggest getting a T5 High Output bulb/fixture around the same length as that will have enough output at the basking site (6-8'' away) even with the screen.

Just as a double check before placing the order, this will fit perfect with the 24 inch? My tank is actually a few inches longer than 36 & a bit deeper than 12 but I'll be cutting the mesh, this is the fixture: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=3803

I'm not sure I'd go with an aquarium fixture as it may not provide full output (guessing on that though). I'd give this one a try for a 24'' T8 regular ouput bulb (24'' fixture)
