It really is gorgeous Kaleen, the ring :love10: & PeeWee :lol: He sure is chubby now, loved the sexy legs & I can see what you mean about being attached to your hip :lol: And he's getting like Rubio, Mr ThunderThighs. I can just imagine how much he weighs now & I'll bet he's getting to the 16" mark if not longer. I bought a scale at one of the local stores, it was on sale from $70 to $40 and it's a kitchen scale with a mixing bowl on top, so they all fit inside, even Rubio. It was so worth getting & because of the bowl, they really have to work on getting out, so I get a good weight every month. I keep track, especially Didi and Lonzo as they lose weight really quickly.

So congrats on that beautiful ring! And for sharing Pee-Wee (and putting up with photobucket). I'm looking forward to seeing pics of Dougie & Daisy, I take it they're getting along really well? And Walter, what a sweetie, but I can understand not getting him up on a small scale!

Yeah I was thinking of going to the stores tomorrow and just picking up a basic kitchen scale. I should have had one of my own the day we bought Frank, but I've been fortunate enough to be able to borrow my friends a few times. With the Holidays here she needs it back for baking, so it's time to go ahead and purchase one. After PeeWees bath tomorrow I am going to measure him, you might be right he could be close to 16" mark.
I will do my best to get the pictures of Walter and his new enclosure up tomorrow. He's so happy in it and loves making all his burrows and tunnels. We still have a few final touches and adjustments to make, but for the most part it's finished. I am just glad he's happy with it, I can't imagine if he hated it. Dougie and Daisy seem to be doing just fine. From what I've seen of their interactions Dougie is interested in her and licks her a lot, but Daisy is intimidated by his size. She barely lets him get close to her, and he doesn't chase her or scare her. They sleep in the same cave at night and snuggle so that's adorable. Daisy is eating and pooping normal, she has a nice round tummy, and is shedding already. These are signs of a happy healthy uro! I'll get some pictures of her posted as well, she's got the sweetest little face, and cutest round chubby belly. She eats more than Dougie, I put 2 overflowing salads a day in their cage and both are completely demolished! She's a messy eater and likes to throw her food around as she eats. I will continue to keep my eye on them, probably for a few months to make sure no underlying issues of aggression are happening.

Yayyyy! Pictures are awesome! Kaleen .... Your ring is breath taking! Wow what a gorgeous run for a beautiful girl with such a kind spirit. I could NOT be happier for you and Jeffrey and you sweet little family.

And PeeWee ! Boy you have become quite the handsome chubster! I can not believe how much he has grown that is insane! I bought my scale at Walmart for $20 which is cheap and it works great. I know going in Walmart is terrible!

Can't wait to see Walter's enclosure and new baby Daisy! More well wishes coming your way and hope you feel much better today! I will try to take more pics of Hemi for you today. Send pics of that ring on your finger when you get your manicure

I'm glad you are feeling better, Kaleen. Many years ago we bought a scale from Walmart that has a bowl on top it goes up to 5 pounds and weighs in pounds and grams. It was $30 then so it will probably cost more now.

And do you have any idea how hard it was for me to stifle a huge "SQUEEEEE!!!!!" at work when I saw those pics of PeeWee?!?!!? OMG, he's so cute that it hurts! LOL Not only is he getting huge, but I am noticing a big change in his face - the short snout is looking more evident.

Joe and I also avoid Walmart like the plague, but that is where I picked up Stella's scale - one of my super-rare trips there. I paid like, $19 for it I think.

That is so cute that Dougie and Daisy sleep in the same cave together! :love5: I really wish beardies could cohabitate better with each other like that.

Thank you so much for the compliments on PeeWee and my ring. All this good news and good vibes are really having a positive effect on my health. I over did it yesterday, I was feeling better than I have in a long while and just kept going and going. Before I knew it I could barely move, and today it took hours just to get up out of bed. I'll be taking it easy the next few days, I have to go stay up at my parents house and dog sit for them until Sunday evening. It's always hard to leave my house where I am comfortable, and leave my babies. Jeffrey will be here to care for them so it's not that they won't be looked after, but I will really miss them. I don't do too well at my parents house sleep wise, It's a big dark scary haunted house and I just don't like staying there by myself. At leas the dogs are there with me so I know I'll be safe! Well I am going to take a hot hot shower to help relax my muscles, I will be back in bit with the pictures of Walters new house!

I have no idea Gina?! Leaving him is going to be a lot harder than I originally thought.. Jeffrey says if he gets too depressed he will move PeeWee to my parents house, so he can be with me till Sunday when I return home! Talk about a spoiled dragon! PeeWee may be just fine though, Jeffrey is super attentive and at times worse than me when it comes to spoiling the babies. If he had to be moved to my parents house to be with me, he won't get to come out for play time very much. The female dog, Maizey, is a hunter, she goes after prey and can be vicious. I really don't want to bring PeeWee anywhere near her. Anyway this week will be interesting, so I'll definitely keep you posted on what happens!

Well I can understand why you house sit & don't bring the dogs to your place, too much prey! I hope it goes well for you, do they live far from you? Is that why you have to stay there 24/7? I can see PeeWee now attaching himself to Jeffrey, yelling "what have you done to my mama, where is she!!!" He will surely miss you, Kaleen. Just hope you do get some sleep while you're there.

I wouldn't chance moving PeeWee in with your parents' dogs for the week, especially with Maizey being a hunter.
Do you have a video option on your phone? Maybe you can record yourself saying hello to PeeWee and Jeffrey could play it for him whenever he's missing you.

I am not going to chance it, if something happened to PeeWee I would never forgive myself. He will be fine, I'm only going to be gone Thursday through Sunday afternoon. Deb my parents live 45min away from me, and the dogs are spoiled needy babies! The actually used to be my dogs, but I had to move away for treatment and my parents took them in for me. When I moved home when I was healthy enough the dogs were settled in with my parents and refused to move in to a tiny apartment without a big backyard! It all worked out for the best, my parents love animals and I know they are well cared for and I can see them anytime I want! This way whenever my parents go out of town I always watch the dogs and get some quality time with them. I am glad Sunny is sleeping this time, she gets very upset and depressed when I am gone. I'm sure PeeWee will be ok, Jeffrey is one for lots of fun and snuggles. I literally made up the morning salads for everyone for Thursday to Sunday and put them in baggies in the fridge. All he has to do is put it in their bowls, and feed the buggies later on. I also wrote down the bathing schedules, PeeWee has to be bathed before noon or he will poop in his cage and smear it everywhere out of frustration. I sound like a mommy leaving her children with a sitter for the first time.
Here's a good PeeWee story for you... I usually get up pretty early in the morning during the week because of doctors appointments and having to make 4 salads before I leave the house. Well when I get up either the lights are about to turn on or have just turned on. It takes Chloe about 10min to come out of her blankie and move to her basking spot. Welll Mr. PeeWee takes his sweet adorable time. He would sleep till 5pm if I let him. At first I thought maybe he can't see the light in his blankie, so I would just uncover him and let him wake up that way. Nope, I'd uncover him and he'd just lay there, so now I have to physically pick him up and move him to his basking stick! Jeffrey felt he was behaving like this because he knew I would just move him, so I should not do it a few days and he'll go back to waking up himself. I tried Jeffrey's theory yesterday and today, PeeWee didn't move at all!!! Finally at 4pm yesterday we moved him, and today I had to leave at 2:30pm so that's when I moved him! Tomorrow I am going to try my other theory, maybe he wants to warm up a bit on me first before he basks. Sunny likes to do that, so I put her on me for about 15min while I do other stuff, then she goes and happily basks to start her day. Hopefully PeeWee will be the same, I bet he's just mad at me for not paying him any attention in the early morning! I'll let you know what happens!

Oh my, he sounds like Didi and Lonzo. I uncover them all in the am. but I have to move Lonzo & Didi to their basking spots, I swear they'd sit there just like PeeWee all day :lol: As I have to feed them before I leave for work at 10:30a, they're on a tight schedule from Monday to Friday, wake up at 8a, basking until 9a, meanwhile I get my breakfast, then baths, they all poop in the bath, thank goodness, easy cleanup and food until 10a, then I make my lunch, get dressed & dash out the door. I'm off for a week with a pulled muscle in my left leg & my schedule is all out to lunch, so they're didn't get their baths for 2 days & seriously, they were not pleased! They also weren't pleased to be let sleep a bit longer in the am! They are worse than I am about being on schedule! So they all waited until their time outs to poop on the carpet, just more clean up for me and to let me know that they expect their baths in the morning slave, so get to it. :lol: :roll: So PeeWee is in their ranks, as far as "I won't move in the am until you move me". Only Leo gets himself under his light in the am. Gabriel is placed on his basking spot when the bedroom has warmed up, as he sleeps on the sofa during the winter, but he hates to stay there. Yesterday he really pouted all afternoon while the others got their turns on the ramp, until I finally felt sorry for him and put him on my shoulder for a couple of hours!

PeeWee will miss you, you'll have to talk to him when you talk to Jeffrey, at least to reassure him that you're just away for a bit. I'll bet when you get home, he reattaches himself to you & won't let go! At least it's only for a few days. Our beardies are so funny sometimes :mrgreen: That is great that your folks took in your dogs when you had to start getting treatments and that they consider themselves at home. And that you can see them anytime.
