R.I.P. JUDAS :( :( R.I.P MISTY :( :(

This is my new girl, she is one of Barbara's babies from the first clutch and was born on 7/17. Her proud parents are Ms. Tiggs & PVT Blaze. As we know, all Barb's beardies are spoiled.
She had a long trip from CA yesterday, all the way to NY. She arrived 12:30 today. She is gorgeous, has orange colored eyes and is a real sweetie.

I had a problem with Photobucket, promise to put up more pics later. She had a bath, ate a few greens & a little squash as well as 2 crickets. She has been cuddled quite a bit already. And, as Barbara knows, she loves to run up your hand & arm when you try to put her back in.
Her stress marks are gone right now, she laid on my lap and snuggled into my hand. :shock:

That is wonderful news about Giz. I am happy to hear that the Baytril is working for him. YaY for eating hornworms!!!!!

I don't know if I would want Bligg to be 700 grams :shock: . He looks so lean and mean at 600g... I'd like him to stay that way.(and I am not saying that Lilly is fat, Sara, but she is a big girl. Big boned that is :wink: )
Now I have not weighed Rex in a while, but if I had to guess she is probably around 675g and most of that is in her tail, LOL

Lol, my family calls her fat all the time so I have forbidden the word. Now they call her fluffy, chubby, tubby, etc. It has kind of become a game to think of ways to NOT call her fat. Seriously though, she acts like she is starving ALL the time. I have to put worm cups out of her reach (the coffee table doesn't work anymore) or she will go and attack them endlessly until someone pities her and opens the cup.

Diane, I'm so glad to hear Giz is doing better. Hopefully he'll continue to get stronger with the injections. I know this has been a very taxing time on you and your family, so hopefully you all can get a break! (I figured I would draw attention to the part of my post that is actually on topic, if only to prove that I can speak on topic)

Thanks Dawn. I was very pleased to see him improve that much in just one day. I felt much better when I left for work this morning, a load had been lifted because I didn't know what I was going to see every day I did get home.

I don't want Misty to weigh 700 grams either. When she was close to that before, her breathing wasn't the same and she didn't look as happy. So, I don't want her to get that heavy again, eggs or no eggs. I didn't realize that Rex weighed about that much, you'll have to let us know for sure.

Sara, I like the name of Fluffy for Lilly especially since she's just the opposite. :lol: She is long so that makes up for some of her wt too. As long as she is so active, she must be doing fine with her wt. So, she loves the horns too, huh?

Haha, I'll try to get a weight on her tomorrow. We were gone from 7am to 10pm today. Of course my chubmeister got up at 6:30am so she didn't have to miss out on worms (she doesn't usually get up til 8, I can't believe she got up that early AND 8 10 supers/horns).

Sp, Lily is 643 grams, that isn't much more than Misty and Misty isn't as long as your girl. Perhaps Misty needs to go on a diet since I'm not seeing any gravid signs. :roll:

A great Gizmo report. He ate 2 small to medium horns this morning as well as some greens. About 1 1/2 hrs ago, he ate 8 small to medium dubias. He even did some glass dancing so doing a LOT better. I feel so much better.

Hi Barb, he actually was doing better than today. His eyes don't look as happy and he only ate 1 small dubia although he did eat quite a bit yesterday. We gave him his 2nd injection a little while ago. He didn't like that at all and held his right leg very stiff and looked up at Paul like "why did you hurt me?" He laid his head down on Paul's hand who felt terrible and said he'd rather have the injection himself rather than having to give it to Giz. He did get a jet black beard when he saw Misty though which he wasn't doing when he was SO ill so I take that as a good sign. Josh is holding him now, giving him extra cuddles.

Misty took a poop this morning in her blanket which is so unlike her. She had 3 urates yesterday, 2 so far today and only ate 1 butterworm and a small amt of greens. She isn't hyper but I suspect she is starting with eggs. Will keep everyone updated.
