I took Buddy to see the doctor tonight (he had an toenail fall off last night, probably from when he tried to climb out and got caught by the light's clamp [it's the only thing we could think of]). He was ok with the big dog that was already in the waiting area when we walked in, then was iffy when another big dog walked in about 10 min later. When the third dog, who was much smaller in size (probably a little smaller than Zim) walked through the door and immediately sat about 4 feet away from us, he suddenly became really frightened and ran up my chest (he was initially sitting in my lap) and buried his head into my throat and under my hair. It was so :laughing6: but so at the same time. The three people with the dogs stared at us as if I had 2 heads and antennas coming out of each one. Luckily, we were called into an exam room shortly after Buddy's little shameful scene. When the doctor was looking at his feet and trying to pull off a piece of skin that had been peeling away from the nail bed of another toe, Buddy kept trying to run away, of course, but would calm down for a few seconds if I gave him kisses and told him "shhhh, it's ok".
After all these years, the doc still can't believe how tamed Buddy was and how he's not at all like a normal snapper.
Yup, that's my little "big chicken"
