Gina I read your post on Debs thread about the bed. Now you listen here you  I have a ton of fabric in a tote down in the basement I will never use up. I have some fleece down there that is really pretty. I will make a couple of those beds for you if you like and I will not take NO for an answer. You have been so kind to me, let me do this for you. I love crafting so please let me make a few of them for you?

Tonja, you are too cute, and too sweet.
Since you won't take NO for an answer, I'll accept your offer. Thanks bunches! :notworthy:

One of these days, I will learn how to use a sewing machine without knotting up the spindles and nearly burning out the motor.

I will go down tomorrow and select the fabrics. I can probably knock 3-4 out over 2 days. They may not look exactly like Debs do but will be pretty close. I will let you know when they are done. This what I love to do and am good at crafting things like this.

Not much to report from the Twilight Zone.

Digi is still up bright and early every morning, eating greens and worms (alternating both every other day), paces her house until I take her out, sits in front of the kitchen window (learned my lesson the hard way yesterday; no putting my babycakes in front of the living room window) all day long until I put her back home at night, having normal bowel movements (normal for her), and completely wide awake with no signs of wanting to brumate.

This, of course, is keeping Pookie from slowing down for the winter. He has to keep both Digi and Squirt in check, so he goes back and forth until he gets bored, then he'll either go home or back up on the couch to sit in front of the window.

Other than that, it'd been quiet around here. Both MoMo and Gianna are still sleeping deep inside their caves. MoMo hasn't moved at all, and 2 weekends ago I had to make sure that she was still alive by poking at her tail, to which I got the death glare. Not even 5 minutes later, she promptly went back to sleep. Gianna would shift her position once a day.

Oh, one last thing to report on: I miss Callie! I mean, I really really miss Callie :( Heck, at this point, I even miss the bunny.
Yeah, I'm a sad sap.

Glad the dragons are doing well. Pookie makes me laugh, pacing from Digi to Squirt before he'll settle down, he's so unique, love him to death!

And of course you miss Callie. You haven't seen her at all? Hopefully soon, then. She'll come back, you'll see. And no bunny either? Do bunnies hibernate? Maybe he's sleeping then.

At least you still have 3 beardies and Zim to keep you company. Plus feeding the birds and squirrels.

I hope the reason why Callie hasn't been around is because it's too cold, that she's staying warm and dry wherever she is. Since she's such a smart cookie, I'm sure she's fine, and had been finding field mice or birds to eat.

The bunny hasn't been seen because there's no grass to eat. The entire yard had been covered with snow. At least that's what I'd been telling Zim, because he still looks for his little buddy every night.

I had been seeing different animal tracks in the snow. The squirrel tracks are easily recognized (dragged line), but there were a few that looked like a small animal's feet and they were very uniformed in a straight line. It could be the bunny's, given where the tracks came out from (woods and back yard's brush), but the placements of the feet doesn't match with the images I found on the internet.

That was just so funny! He looks great, it's been a bit since I've seen a good pic of him. He sure gets around well. I'm so glad you brought him home and I love his lightness. Plus he has such a cute face :D Thanks for sharing

Such a cute video! I wonder if he meant to get down so fast or if his momentum carried him? After all, he worked so hard to get up there, you'd think he'd want to stay a while. My Angus did a similar thing tonight trying to climb a large ziploc bag containing collards. All he could do was slip down the side while he tried feverishly to climb it. I finally had to put him on top. Once he got there he didn't move for fear of falling off.

Squirt is a very silly beardie. He can't get good traction while on the floor, so as he's moving his arms and legs as fast as he can, he'll suddenly take off and just keep going.

When I recorded this, Squirt had just jumped down from the couch to go home. He'd been sitting in front of the living room window for about an hour. It's funny that from the first time he was allowed out to play, he had never once ran off or hid underneath something where he wasn't allowed to be. When he had enough of play time, he'd run back to the hallway where his tank is and just stand in front of it, waiting for me to put him back in. I'm convinced that beardies do communicate and trade information with one another, because there's no way that Squirt would know not to run under/behind something unless one of my other babies had told him so.

That's too funny! Angus was so determined to climb the Ziploc bag that he didn't think of what to do afterwards.

Pookie and I went to the Super Pet Expo today. We got there around 12:30pm and left at 6:30pm. It was a very long day for both of us. Pookie was such a good boy, allowing so many people to pet him and even hold him. He never once had even a faint gray beard; it was mostly white with a few moments of his happy yellow/orange specks. He even took a brief nap on my arm while I walked around looking for a place to sit for lunch.

We first saw a monkey (can't remember what type; it was little), then all different types of parrots, then we watched a bunch of dogs playing in the "park". It took longer to walk up/down the aisles this year than last year because we kept getting stopped for petting, questions, and photos. We got to see a pet fashion show, which was cute with the dogs and their owners dressed alike. Pookie was bored with this show because he couldn't see the dogs unless they were medium sized (we were standing behind the 4 rows of seats); this was when he decided to take a nap.

We went to visit the NJSPCA booth and amazed everyone there. We got to take a photo with the Capt.

Later on, we watched a reptile show where the guy had a baby crocodile, chinchilla, tortoise, legless reptile, scorpion, and an albino ball python. Of course, before the show started, a lot of the audience were aww'ing and ooh'ing over Pookie, and he ended up being part of the show (only in name).

Oh, I just remembered something. Last night, before Pookie fell asleep, I told him that I was going to take him to the expo, then told him of how he had so much fun last year with all of the people and dogs and birds and fish. When I was done talking to him, I noticed that his beard was all speckled with yellow and orange, where it was white before I started to tell him about the expo.

Have I told you guys lately that I love my Pookster? :p

You have! I'm so glad you had a good day, even if it was tiring. Pookie is the best beardie to let so many people fuss over him and hold him. I'm glad he was able to show people how well a beardie does when so well cared for!

Other than the many "Oh, he's so calm!" and "Oh my! He just sits in your hand like that?" remarks, I heard a lot of "He's so big!". A few who had other reptiles were amazed to hear that Pookie doesn't bite

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
