PLZ HELP UVB Dilemma !!!

Ok im not sure but does anybody no if Compact florescent lights emit uvb? because i have a box off them and i wanna now if the can be of use. :?: :?: :?:

i'm still new but i think i've read you need a repti specific bulb to get the uvb rays

The best light to use for bearded dragons is a Reptisun 10.0 linear tube.
Compact/coils can cause eye issues with beardies.

You beat me to it. You can also get a cheep fixture from Walmart. I'll try to find the link again... >.>

Okay...well I couldn't find the one we bought, but I did find this one http://www.walmart.com/ip/Lights-of-America-24-Fluorescent-Grow-Light-Fixture/16879945. The one we got was cheaper, but it's the exact same thing, just different name/pics. Hope this helps!
