Normal household bulb have UVA?

I have a UVB bulb and right now I'm using a normal bulb that I found in my garage. It gets really hot but the lady at PetSmart told me it is not good because normal household bulbs do not contain UVA. Is this true?

A "normal" incandescent bulb does not put out much (if any) UVA, but that's not it's purpose.

The purpose of the incandescent bulb is to provide bright, white, light and heat.

The UVB bulb puts out both UVA and UVB, so you're covered.

Selling overpriced "Special", "Basking", or "UVA" bulbs is just a marketing gimmick.
