Norbert digging?

Norbert is only 6 inches so I know he/she can not be gravid, is there any other reason it would dig? I take he/she out 2-3 times a day to handle and for a bath.

They dig to get comfortable. Give him a small piece of polar fleece to snuggle into.

I think sometimes they just like digging. My male dragon used to dig when I had sand, and not necessarily to lie down there afterwards.
