Misting While shredding

Hi i have a question regarding the misting of the beardie while he is shredding.
Is this good for them? i know that this gives them more color, but doesnt it make it more difficult for them to shred? plz give me ur opinions

Well, it will help them shed a bit easier, but I don't like misting.

Giving a bath works better IMO, for hydration and helping a dragon to shed.

V will only sit on my hand in a bath for maybe 2 minutes at a time. He gives me the "look of death" (as its known in our house), if i try to bathe him more then a few times a week. So misting really helped him shed, more so then the bath, for some odd reason. He was having trouble getting that tiny suit off of himself until i started the misting, so ive got no problem with it myself...I just dont like getting any on his head- he will even shake it off!haha
