Poor baby, not liking his birthday treat (Pookie also hated [understatement] PWs).
His preshed colors are so cute, makes him look like he's wearing a swimsuit.

Did his older sister and brother get to wish him a happy birthday? Or is Huff sleeping?

His older brother and sister are suffering from MAJOR spring fever! Travis is scared of all of the noise that those 2 make. Phoebe did say hello to him this morning though- while she was still too sleepy to really know what/who he was LOL!

Haha, love the story about the PW's Tyrus was the same, he actually bit one once but spit it back into the dish before even hurting the worm and wouldn't eat at all that day. Dragons crazy antics lol

LOL I wouldn't eat them either, Travis. I think you have good taste! He sure did look like he was sulking to me. You are very good with that camera!

LOL! He has been picking at them - maybe 2 or 3 a day but there is no hope of him eating the 500 I have here! Phoebe has been getting them - she thinks its her birthday - now she can have 4-6 phoenix worms instead of 1 locust so she is convinced that she is eating more LOL!

Travis ate 3 phoenix worms and 52 crickets today.... it was a smaller amount than usualy as he is shedding around his mouth and has spent most of the day sulking. He did eat all of his salad again though... this boy is a super salad eater!

He is also afraid of the Christmas tree! He is so funny to watch... if he can see it when its bed time, he refuses to go to sleep and just stares at it. Last night he stared for 25 mins before he realised he could just go to the other side of his viv and he wouldnt be able to see it LOL! Such a little mad man!

He is so gentle. He seems to think carefully about every step that he takes (unless there are locusts involved)... It is so fun to watch him moving around and exploring the room with his delicate little steps... makes a change from the noise of Phoebe charging back and forth from her viv to the table! LOL!

Does the tree have blinking lights? Or is he simply afraid of the lights to begin with?

Isn't it adorable to see them finally have an :idea: ? Of course, with my knuckleheads, it's usually a bad thing.

Phoebe must be in heaven with the PWs.

Nope, no blinking lights- I remember reading a few years back that blinking lights caused problems for beardies so made sure I did not buy any since our babies can see the tree. Travis I'd just scared of it in general LOL! I think it's the whole concept of a giant green thing with shiny things on it that freaks him out-he doesn't seem to notice it during the day though!

Travis has been sleeping on his blankie for the past week. I let him choose where to sleep and if he chooses the oat bran I move him to his blankie later... But that has only been twice in the past week! I'm considering removing the bran since it's messy and he doesn't seem to care for it... Think il give it another week though as I don't want to intentionally give him reasons to sulk!

He chose to ween himself off of the oatbran? What a good boy! Yeah, give it another week until he's certain he doesn't want the oatbran anymore. We wouldn't want to see more ultra-adorable sulking pics of your baby boy :wink:

Travis sounds like he's a handful but so beautiful :love5: . It's always the way with dragons, what you least expect is what is going to happen. :mrgreen: Oh well, we love them all to bits anyway.
Isn't that a bit early, we haven't really hit winter just yet. Lonzo and Leo were up yesterday but I don't see anyone up, not even Leo yet. I'll have to check, he seems to like to be up, even though he doesn't eat much, just watchees TV. The little TV in the living room is beside his tank, so he watches Knowledge channel all day, mostly cute cartoons.
Sweetie is steadily improving, even though she still gasps and blows bubbles, but we're at the vet tomorrow & I'm hoping she finds Sweetie much improved.

Have fun with Travis, he's so big for a 4 mo old, seems to me. And his colours just pop, they must be even brighter in person. Lucky you, having a baby/juvie, hormones should hit within the next month; that's when boys seem to get involved with their black beards. Rubio used to go crosseyed trying to see all of this wonderful big black beard. And he's sometimes puff alot, just to blow the beard up. It's just so hilarious, it'll be interesting to see how Travis changes in the next 3 months. Pics, please, when you can, the last batch were just wonderful to see. Your beardies are all so cute!

Deb, as far as Phoebe and Huff are concerned, it is Spring! Despite the fact that it is very much winter right now! I guess they thought it was winter in the summer so, it works for them LOL!

I would get more pics... but, the lovely 2 year old that lives with my mum threw my phone across the room and broke it and im having to use one that doesnt have much by way of a camera. That, and the memory card on my proper camera is full and, even if it did work, I cant upload pics as my husband broke our internet cable and we have to wait for a new one

you'll see Christina, it will be so funny. when Rubio found out he could puff his beard & make it turn back, his eyes were crossed with concentration each time he tried it. I even got a picture of him crossing his eyes. He tried that beard out on everything, he was just too funny. Then at about 8 mo old, he realized he could bob, foot stamp & black beard all at the same time. That was hilarious to watch! So yes, you have alot of neat things coming up, spring in your place when they're all in Spring Fever will just rock your house!
