Is this normal?

My beardies are always clawing away at the glass as if they can't wait to get out.

sometimes it means that the temp is too hot
sometimes its them just trying to escape.

id check the temps to make sure they are in order
and hopefully that helps

When I catch my girl doing this I will let her out for about 40 min to an hour. 1st I'll hold her for a few until she gets board and wants to explore then I put her down and let her roam. We have one room that is totally beardie proof so I can leave her to romp about with out worry. After a half hour or so if she hasn't found the warm spot on the carpet in the sun she will start to cool down and is always ready to get back in her viv under her light. She is young so really likes to strech those legs and its great excercise. Just make sure you look under the door before you open it in case shes in the way and I would check those temps for sure. If she sits with her mouth gapping it could also be to hot!
