I was thinking of Zeus, Sandile or Chomper? But am open to other names as well. He is an orange sandfire.

i like Kimura. named after a jiu jitsu move. i wanted to name mine that but got the ever most common name Draco instead lol.

Thank you! And thanks so much for the suggestions everyone this is the longest I've ever had a pet before and not named them. I just feel like there is the perfect name for him and I just need to find it! I really like the Onyx idea because he is so dark it makes sense and I like Opal and Blaze. Hmmm...

I thought of Onyx cause there is the typical black onyx and there is a white onyx and his colors just blend so well into the Onyx colors..I believe there is even an orange onyx.

when you pick the name you should choose wisely because it won't be a name that can be changed any time you want. you should stick with only one name.now as i can see, you are open to many great names that these other posters have offered. i can list 5 names that i could offer. i have a sandfire beardie myself and i picked 1 out of the 6 i was thinking of. here are the other 5, Magma, Charizard, Flameo, Remmy, and Cookie.i hope you like these names.

Is Charizard the name that you chose for your beardie? I love that name for a beardie or charmander it fits so well. But I got my fire bellied newts before I got my beardie and I named my newt charmander and I usually just call him charchar so I would get them mixed up. I like Magma or maybe like Magmar, you know the pokemon? I know the name is important thats why I have waited so long to name him. I want to make sure it is perfect for him. Thanks for the help!

Yeah they really do! That was a great idea Onyx is a definite possibility for his name I feel like it fits him very well. Thanks for the idea I would have never thought of that,

Charizard isn't the name of my beardie. his name is Dragon. oh, and about the pokemon thing i know every pokemon. i even knew how to get Genesect, Keldeo, and Meleotta in the first pokemon black and white. anyways, you're right Charizard is a cool name but i like the name Dragon better becuase i really like dragons. i could care less about the magic, wizards, and powers and stuff like that but thats myy opinion so i'm not trying to offend anybody. ok, enough of that stuff. i think Onyx is a pretty awsome name.
