Help! Urgent. I read that Collard Greens are a good food for Bearded Dragons so I give him a lot. But then I read that they contain a lot of oxalates. Should I be concerned or take my Bearded Dragon to the vet?

It's fine ! Collards are good and many people feed them as a staple but you 100% should offer other greens as well. Try turnip greens like, mustard arugula and kale. But your dragon will be fine. :)

I agree that variety is the best way to go in general, but I give collards to my guy all the time. It's a calcium rich and healthy option to use as a staple. It keeps really well in the fridge too.

Moved by moderator from ER to Feeding.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴

Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
