My beardy isn't too fond of the ourdoors either. Maybe it is because I didn't introduce the outdoors until he was about 1.

Buddy did the same thing when he took his first glimpse of natural sunlight. He freaked, he poofed out his beard, flattened his body, and pulled his lips back to bear his little teeth and hissed at the sun. Very unhappy, but funny at the same time. xD

Maybe he just loved it so much that he didn't want you to touch him and ruin the moment by taking him back in . The glass is half full !! I'd say try it again and again until he gets use to it, half the fun is taking them outside and having them with you to explore.

He looks like our Roo she hates it outside she even hates seeing outside through a window. He wasnt happy at all i wouldnt of put my fingers any where near his mouth either. Its normaly all show but you just never know.

When I had Bilby he used to get pretty angry about being outside, but I think part of that is they aren't in their comfort zone anymore and can see possible predators.

Try bringing something from his viv out with you, so he has something familiar as a starting point.

It's too cold here to go outside, but when I 1st let Maxx roam around the living room she did that. The I took her basking log out and sat it on the floor and put her there. She was much happier sitting on something familiar, and used that as a "base" to explore around. Now, she LOVES to be out of her viv. If she is grumpy all I have to do is take her out and let her wander around a bit and she is all milky white again.
