Freaking out

I just put a reptisun 10.0 in her tank and as soon as it came on she started to freak out. It is scaring the hell out of me. Any advice?

Beardies do notice changes and can act up until they adjust. Could just be that he/she is being her/his normal self now and jumping, climbing, exploring, glass dancing etc.,etc.

But please explain so we know exactly what you are trying to tell us LOL

she is acting like it scares her or it is hurting her, she won't get up on her basking spot running around frantic. it just isn't her normal self

Are you using both UVB bulbs?

Is it possible for you to take a picture of your viv and post it? That may help quite a bit.

yeah, I will try to post tonight after I get off work here, it is a small 10 gallon tank (lousy pet store starter kit), I am getting a 40g breeder in a week or so
