Digging?

My 2 month male beardie started to try to dig in the corner today, substrate is tile. All I hear is his little claws what causes them to dig?

Well yeah, lol. He's just trying to hard to dig into the tile lol..

I dont know too much about youngns but it could be in this instance they are looking to cool off by digging a hole away from the heat. Maybe double check the cool side?

He was in the hot, and cool side is 82degrees. So no problem here

Well he could still be looking to cool off or just a place of his own to hide under. I read quite a few threads of peoples dragons crawling under the repticarpet. But like i said i dont know much about youngns. My adult female only digs when she has eggs to lay or its brumation time.

You could try putting a towel or another something soft wrapped up on the cool side to see if he'll burrow into that.

Some reptiles will try to hide on the warm side to stay at a preferred temp but avoid UVB or being seen. You might be able to give a hide or something to dig in on both sides.

He has a small hide. He knows how to get in there..whats a good dig box?
