Is it ok to use a uv coil house hold bulb for my beardie tank to add light? Or is it too bight? It is one of those energy saver bulbs.

Use an LED instead, they give off less heat and use even less energy. It's perfectly to add another bulbs for light as long as it doesn't mess up the temps.

I would just use a low wattage incandescent or halogen. I'd stay away from the coils. LED's really haven't had enough research done on them yet IMO.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
