Can beardies hear?

Hi. I play the trumpet, and sometimes I need to play trumpet and take out my dragon at the same time. Would it be ok to have him on my shoulder when i play, or is that too loud?

They see and hear very well. I would not expose him to noise that loud. It might scare him or even hurt his hearing.
