Hello everyone. Just joined up after taking stewardship of my grandsons' 2 beardies last December; Cuddles and Spike. It has been an awesome learning journey thus far, but I hope to glean more information from you all here about the proper care and treatment of these awesome creatures! (closeup of Cuddles with the nostril trumpet and Spike in his den with hugging the wall.)

Welcome to the forum --- lots of good info on this site -- if you need help or have questions please ask- if you need help w/ the husbandry please ask - how old is Spike and Cuddles ? And they are not housed together are they?

That was my first question as well.
Hopefully they each have their own habitat. Cohabing is really bad idea.
Otherwise congratz on your new best friends :)

Yes, I'm sorry... they are not cohabitating. Each has their own 40 gallon in a stacked arrangement so they can't see each other.

The basking side of my tank isn't getting up to the suggested 100degrees. Does that mean I need to get a new basking light?
