I bet this is the dumbest question anyone has heard. Anyways, Can beardies get an illness from you? For example if you have a cold can your beardie get it? Thanks for answering my dumb question.

I haven't heard of any cases. This is a question for a vet.
You can get salmonella poisoning from your BD if you don't wash your hands after handling it, then eating.

I just want to make sure you don't get scared, but you have a higher chance of getting salmonella from a chicken salad.
I have handled my beardie multiple times and then eaten and not get anyhting at all.
The only problem is if you are licking your dragon's butt then you might have a problem :puke:

Thanks for the help. I was just wondering because I have a cold. I wash my hands before and after I play/feed Harley, but I was worried that he could get a little cold from me.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
