I want to order a new tank.. and the one i found dimensions are 36Lx20w x14H with sliding doors wondering if this is big enough for my dragon to live in for the rest of its life thanks in advance

36L is Good, 20W is Great and 14H is a little iffy, but I think it would Work.
The Minimum size Enclosure for an Adult Bearded Dragon is 36L x 18W x 18H. And Bearded Dragon's Need Length and Width more than Height. So I would day 36L x 20W x 14H would be a good Buy. You just have to make sure your beardie can Not get to Close to it's Baskinglight.

I think it is on the small side to be honest. I think a lot of the posts about minimum cage sizes have a very small minimum... An adult beardie can easily reach a length of 20 itself. Just do the math with that one. I think a tank of 36x20x14 for an animal that reaches 20 is not great. Your beardie will manage (as in live), but won't have space. If you're looking for a cage for the rest of your beardie's life I would go as big as you can afford and otherwise upgrade later on.

Yeah, if you can't build a Big Enclosure then you're pretty Limited to buy something big enough and fit's your Budget.
