It doesn't look normal to me, but I'm not sure what it is. Does it appear to bother him at all?

I agree with Esther that its not normal. I don't know if those are little sores around his mouth or food but if not food and sores, could be anything from an abcess to a cyst to stomitis. I think Esther is right, another vet is need to determine what that is.

Poor guy....he also has an overbite, and that may be a cyst or may be a calcium deposit from his body trying to compensate in that area.

I know, it sucks. He doesn't have the best genes and I feel like the rep breeder I got him from wasn't the best.. He's still active and stuff so I don't see a point in taking him to the vet just yet, I'm still saving up for university at this point.

Hello,

No it isn't a normal bump, it appears to be an abscess or cyst. Is the area hard or soft to the touch?
Are you using a UVB light right now for him?

I would try to get another opinion. If it is an abscess it will get larger. They can lance it & aspirate fluids if any, from it to culture it.
Is he eating normally?

Honestly. It's a little soft, it has some give but not a lot. Using a reptisun 10.0. His eating has been kinda bad Inappropriate word edited by Moderator he'll eat like 4 supers then just walk away and he's been cage dancing a lot lately.

Hello,

Oh it does have some give & is soft?
They could definitely aspirate or try to aspirate some fluids from that area if possible to have it cultured.
Then they could try to find out if it is a bacterial infection or something else going on.
How old is the Reptisun 10 tube bulb & how close is it to him?
Could he have injured it awhile back on something?

Is that food on his mouth area or another type of injury or sores?

That's actually the bedding from the superworms so no not sores but I feel like I may have caused it. He had this but a little smaller before and one time I was cleaning his mouth and a little bleeding occurred, no more than a needlepoint of blood so I wasn't too worried. Could have contributed. Not sure tough don't want to jump to conclusions, is it necessary to treat this or should I monitor for a bit and see if it gets worse or he becomes increasingly lethargic because at this point his appetite isn't too bad, he doesn't eat too many super worms but he'll eat a few and then go run around and such.

Thanks for the help thus far.

Hello,

Ok, great so it is just the bump then & nothing else.
I would consider getting it checked out so it can be drained to see if it is an abscess or a cyst. Since it isn't seemingly bothering him, it shouldn't be painful right now. I wouldn't want it to get any larger though.
That could have irritated it some if it did bleed. How long ago was that?
You can use some antibiotic ointment on it or try some unpasteurized honey or manuka honey to help with the area.

Just felt like giving you an update. I went to the vet and it is infact a cyst, followed by some oral health issues. They drained the cyst a bit, then prescribed me some Baytril with sugar as kind of a broad spectrum treatment and some oral mouthwash. My beardie kinda likes the baytril but gets so pissed off after i give him some. He also hates when I give him the mouthwash, he wont let me touch his mouth right now to open it lol. Here's a picture to illustrate what happens after I give him antibiotic. http://imgur.com/BIsDyKU

Hello,

That is a black beard!
He likes the Baytril but hates the mouthwash? Poor guy, I hope that the Baytril helps out. A cyst can be hard to get rid of but hopefully it will get cleared up soon.
Did they get much fluid out of it?
