Boodah,Crush,Gizmo,Princess n Mika! Updated 4/23 :)

Even though we are still mourning our little Spike, he led us to our new luvbug, Boodah! I don't know if I am supposed to say, but we visited with Tom of TND Dragons today. He was wonderful and has the most beautiful dragons who are very well loved and cared for. Tom and his wife are so friendly and welcoming.

Here are the first pics of Boodah who is still settling in having just arrived home this afternoon. He weighed in at 14g today! More than double Spike! Boodah is wicked FAST and luvs jumping around his viv. He is extremely inquisitive and we can't wait until he's completely settled in and his full personality comes thru. Boodah is already very feisty and we are hopelessly head over heels in luv!

The kindness and generosity of everyone on this forum astounds me. It really is like a family here and I am so grateful for all of you. It's amazing how many wonderful friends I've made already. Thank you for your never-ending support during our trying times with Spike and for helping us welcome Boodah into our family.

Glad he is well. They trimmed tip of his tail or a piece of shed on the tail??
And too funny about the pyrex dish. Hermes will only eat food if put in front of his nose--actually I have to go feed him soon! And he won't eat the salad if he knows we are watching but he is eating it. as he didnt eat worms for my mom but little salad was left when we came home. Hermes has what appears to be a milk moustache and I am hoping it is only the beginning of a shed. I will try to get a picture adn post that on a different post later.
Things have been crazy here which is why I haven't called. maybe tomorrow or Friday

My sister actually bought Boodah a Buddah statue w/a dragon. Boodah has taken a liking to it. Here's some pics:

She is definitely taking an interest in Boodah. I almost passed out when she got him a present! She's held him twice but she's still very skittish but it's a start! Boodah is definitely working his magic on her!

U have a good memory! She does have a dog. When my sis was a school teacher she had a pretty mean iguana as a class pet. She's coming around tho, which I never thought would happen.

He sure is growing fast and sure loves his statue, his tummy is creamy white in those pics. Good for him! I know Spike is glad you have Boodah with you now. He sure is a handsome fellow! Hey guys. Sorry I've been MIA for a few days, I've been sick w/a terrible sinus infection. Boodah has been eating like crazy! He's already gained 2g this week! Boodah has become really attached to a really soft olive green hand towel! He sleeps all wrapped up in it every nite-too cute. R new routine is at 730 we snuggle n then he climbs into his towel, snuggles down n passes out for the nite. Boodah also has a new stuffie in his play yard that he's taken a liking to. He's crazy for the dandelion greens. They r his favorite so far. We r still waiting for his first shed w/us. Here r some pics from the last few days.

He's sure growing! He's so big now. I loved all the pics, especially the ones on the computer, already a great slave, Jane. He's totally spoiled & cuddles, too. All our beardies are wrapped up in towels every night, they all have their blankies, plus bath towels. All old and soft and they find them very comfy. Mom gave me a hugh pile of towels she didn't need & they came in handy.

I can't get over Boudah's very pretty colours. He'll really glow once his first shed gets over with. This will be the esploding shed, because he's still a baby.

I m trying to patiently wait for Boodah's first shed but I m getting a little obsessive about it now! This is his 3rd week w/us although it seems like he's been part of the family forever! He eats like a horse n is gaining weight nicely. How long until he sheds? It's driving me crazy!!!!

He'll shed when he gets too big for the skin he's in & once he starts he'll shed all the time. Babies are like they, they just explode with body sheds, especially at Boodah's age. So don't sweat it, he's growing and eating and pooping and running arouand and cuddling, so the shedding will snow up in it's own time. He's doing great, no need to worry about anything, he's soooo cute! Just want to kiss his little belly!
