Blankets and Stuff.....Total Newbie!

So should I put a blanket in the viv? Dylila is still very small, will she like it?? Will it hurt her?? OH MY GOSH!! I have sooooo many questions!!

Dylila is shedding on her tail...so excited.

I have a blanket for both of my beardies in each their own vivs. They love them! I use big dish towls but if you have a small beardie then you might get away with a big washcloth :wink:

Thanks for the help, I have seen other dragons in their "blankies" and they look so cozy. Can't wait to introduce this new experience to Dylila and Virginia.

Question: Is it rare that my 2 beardies get along so well?? Will this change as they get older? Even saw tiny Dylila riding on Virginia's back today.....so cute. FYI - Virginia is about half again the size of Dylila, and eats like a horse! Dylila eats her fill and goes to sun herself while Virginia will finish off the rest of the crickets....LOL.

Your welcome, I hope your beardies enjoy their blankets as much as mine do. It cute to see them snuggle with them. And eventually you can cover them up when they go to bed :wink:

Laying on each other is a sign of dominace, it's cute but not a good thing. Virginia is being dominated by Dylila and this can cause problems in the future like fighting. It sounds like it's causing problems for Virginia right now. If you seperate them then Virginia will probably be able to eat more and get bigger. I hope you can seperate them asap.

I think you misunderstand on the eating, they have never hindered each other from eating.....I only meant that Virginia can eat twice as much because she is so much bigger. It is weird that the smaller more calm beardie would be dominating the larger more hyper beardie???? Do you really think that is what is happening?

clarification.....Dylila is tiny and calm, Virginia is big and strong, I believe she is just older than Dylila.....and definitely more energetic, but I like how calm Dylila is. She is not lethargic, just chill.

New pics of Dylila....everyone was right, BTW. Dylila was dominating Virginia, we now have them separated. They are adjusting to life alone, but I think they will be just fine. Does anyone have any knowledge of the different types and colors of dragons? Dylila looks very different to me, but I have no idea what to call her....other than just adorable!!
