Blackbearding for no reason?

Ok, so today I noticed Yoshi blackbearding for pretty much no reason. Nothing has changed in his viv. The only thing I can think of is that his head is shedding. Could this be why he's got his blackbeard on?

Its more han likely the shedding- my beardie gets very stressed and grumpy when she's in shed. Just keep an eye on him and see if the black beard goes away after shed

my Archer started shedding on his head today, and was blackbearding like crazy. i let him soak in a warm bath, which helped dislodge the skin from his eyelids at least and he seemed a bit happier. poor things. shedding must be awful.

Yosh has been scratching his head on his viv decorations and with his back leg so alot of the shed is off but there's still some and he's still got his blackbeard on. *sigh* Not sure what the deal is. Maybe cuz some of the shed is still there?

my male loves to bob and the occasional black beard, but has no stress marks and is very placid, i think its just their way of communicating and also when he first learnt he could do it he was like a kid with a new toy.

He will sit proudly on his log or rock and happily bob away.

my beardie is shedding and since she started shedding for no reason she will black beard and bob her head so i think your beardie is doing the same as mine i just give her a nice warm bath each day must be horrible for them
