He used to eat close to 100 a day, up till about 2 weeks ago. I can't figure it out, I got him a new repti-sun his temps are great... we put...

What do I need for Dubia?

First off get a rubber maid tote with a lid. They are about 7 dollars at wall mart, make sure you get one that does not let ANY light into it. Second you need to cut a hole in the top of said lid. Make it maybe a 5x5 square and tape a screen over it so nothing can escape while it is on. Third...

    Confused about Solar Glo

There is all this discussion about the Exo-Terra Hagen Solar Glo MVB. The posts only talk about the UMB being bad. OK, I am sooo new to all of this. I already took my first 2 bulbs back because the manager at Petsmart suggested the Exo-Terra Solar Glo instead (says nothing regarding MVB) to do...

I just used about 2 dollars worth of chain (small chain) from lowes and a $.99 bag of S hooks to hang it down right in the middle of the enclosure.

    Dubia qestion..

So a few weeks ago I posted on here saying my colony was running low on smaller roaches for Herman to eat, to fix the problem we fed crickets (made me remember why we switched) for a week or so, now we are back to some good numbers in our bin of babies, but my question is what is the rule on...

The light needs to be 6-8 inches away from the DRAGON, not the ledge the dragon sits on. Measure to the back of the dragon.

    Ran out of babies...

Ah so there are some roaches that are having babies, I thought they all carried around the egg sack... well in that case I guess I am just gonna have to refortify it. My set up is just like yours, 22gal solid color bin, with 5-6 egg crates, water crystals, and some roach chow from one of the...

    Ran out of babies...

So I have have my dubia colony for about 2 months now, and the girl I got it from (found her on here) had it for I am guessing at least a few months, it was a pretty nice colony when I started, but the problem is, it is dwindling at a rapid rate! I am basically out of small enough roaches to...

Flukers Sunspot Mercury Vapor Bulb 100 WATT

Yeah my opinion on the bulb would be to let someone run a few under a meter (or if you have one please let us know). If you do use it make sure you keep a close eye on your pet, any signs of problems remove it!
