what do you guys think of the zilla light??
its the desert version.

not good at all, beardies have been know to become quite ill while using them. Stick to the reptiSUN or the arcadia ranges (tube only not compact)

well if you can scrape togehter £25 you can get them from www.livefoodsdirect.com, or if in the US www.petmountain.com for $25 then i would turn the bulb off right away and put in the new bulb when in arrives. If not you will have to chance it for a few weeks until you can afford the bulb, just watch out for loss of appitite, lethargy and closing of eyes. If any of these occur switch off the bulb. As with all Tube bulbs they will need replacing in 6 months time though.

okay. do you guys mind giving me the exact name for the proper lights. im going to try and see what i can get... but i need to know the names for what im looking for. i am in the USA.
i feel horrible. she wont eat veggies. never has since ive had her...

For the fixture you can either go to home depot and get one for 9 bucks... or use the one that came with your zilla light.

this is the bulb, is the zilla bulb a 1" diameter, is so it should just pop into the fixture your using now, you just have to make you you get the right lenght, i think i pasted the link to a 24" bulb, but there are 36, 48 and 18" bulb avaliable from this site. Hope that helps!

Sorry, not sure what a lighting ring is?? There should be nothing covering the bulb at all, take off all plastice covering etc (if thats what you mean!)

no, i haven't ever seen those before, bu i would think not, the UVB bulbs are straight tubes, it may be a compact? or just a tube for light, im not sure. Is this the zilla bulb you've been using?

The fixture you need is the under counter type from a DIY shop, usually in the kitchen or lighting departments, the are about $20
