You know you're living with beardies when...

Just thought we could start identifying things around the house that indicate a house full of beardies, i.e. You know you're living with beardies when...
while barefoot, you step on a thorn. When you remove it, it's actually a shedded beardie scale!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Crickets sing from all corners WITHIN the house!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Your refrigerator is full of worms and this is a very good thing, not a sign for a serious cleaning job!

I know there are many more ways that show others we are doing things a little bit differently! So, how do you know you're living with beardies?

When you hear your 3 y/o grandson telling your 9 y/o grandson... regarding the kittens born... that the kitties just came out of their eggs. LOL

YKYLWBW....Your landlord is looking for the cat when he comes in becouse he clearly sees a cat bed and a litter pan...and another litter pan filled w/ cocofiber...food dishes on the floor and some kind of leashes that he can't figure out. :D

YKYLWBW . . . you lose a hornworm somewhere in the living room, gave up looking for it, then hours later see it crawling on top of the couch from the corner of your eye.
Nearly scared me to death!

I love Beardies, too.

YKYLWBW: You time your schedule around your dragons & try not to go on about them to friends/relatives that are scared or think lizards are icky!

Lol we had an escaped cricket in the kitchen, and everyone was screaming so we brought the expert cricket eater to cach it. This boy nicknamed fruitcake started screaming cause hes tereified of beardies, and i had to cover my mouth so i wouldnt scream at him that beardies think hes scary too, and say rude things about how much hes missing. :p

You know you're living with beardies when the only reason you look forward to the Summer time is so you can take your scaly puppies out for walks or to run errands with you (I'm half Norwegian and built for cold weather... I HATE Summer time). ;)

You also know you're living with beardies when you begin a sentence with, "So the other day my beardie..." and all of your friends rolls their eyes.

hahah story of my life!

YKYLWBW: people come into your room (if the cage is in there) and scrunch their nose and say "eww it smells like lizard in here!" or something along those lines. :?

Lol thats never happened to me, most of my friends fight over who gets to hold her, walk her outside, or feed her baby food on her mini spoons. :)

Awww, that's sweet. Only a few in my family like lizards. My young nieces & nephews do & so does my sis-in-law. But my mom asked me if I could visit her instead of her visiting me. Considering that we live in a 1-bedroom apartment & have 5 beardies & a gecko, I told her I'd have no problem visiting her

Thats usually the opposite for us, we have something for everyone to love:eek:ur bearded dragon, turtle, baby hamster, a parakeet who copies you whistles, and my cat.
But my cat creeps some people out. Hes all black, so whenever my friend Sharon saw him shed cross herself. And hes creepy. He just sits on the stairs staring at you with these big yellow eyes, and he doesnt move.
But since Bindi (my beardie) is so tiny, not alot of people are scared of her.

You get one last, meager paycheck for one day worked last month before quitting, and spend the entirety of it on a new viv and decorations.

...And when the neighbors spot you outside cleaning said new things, they immediately ask if those are for Wave. Since they not only know her, they also know her name. After all, she's part of the family, too.

Aww, thats cute:D my neighbor across the street has this vicious dog whos attacked other dogs and outside cats, and tried to attack my mom. Since they rented their house no one goes outside as much. Thats cute your neighbors know Wave.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
