Just thought we could start identifying things around the house that indicate a house full of beardies, i.e. You know you're living with beardies when...
while barefoot, you step on a thorn. When you remove it, it's actually a shedded beardie scale!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Crickets sing from all corners WITHIN the house!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Your refrigerator is full of worms and this is a very good thing, not a sign for a serious cleaning job!

I know there are many more ways that show others we are doing things a little bit differently! So, how do you know you're living with beardies?

you have 3 adult dubai roaches that the breeder you got your baby from a month ago gave you with hopes that they would breed and make you some lizard food. A month goes by and nothing happens, and you absentmindedly tell your 10-year old son he should go in there and give the roaches a "birds and the bees" talk to get them motivated. Then your 10-year old snaps you back to reality when he comments with a smile, "I would, but I'm not sure I got the whole story down"...

I love it!! Gotta loves those boys!! LOL

I did that! My first Renaissance fair was this summer and we brought Dora along.

Same here! My boyfriend's dragon will sit on my hand forever and give me this cute little tilted head while I talk to him, but ONE SECOND of GENTLY holding him wrong and he will act like he's going to do a leap onto the floor and/or I get the head bob.. :laughing6: .. beardies, gotta love em. :love10: My boss saw the scratches on my hand one day and asked what happened. I told her "my boyfriend's pet dragon scratched me" and my other coworker's eyes got huge and she freaked out.. "A PET DRAGON??!!!" :lol:
