Never had this issue for my dragon, and am by no means an expert. However, I've been reading a lot of the posts in the discussion form since I got my Beardie. I do recall reading that maybe a diluted betadine soak may help.
That's all I got :D

Yes, soak it in diluted betadine (povidone iodine). Mix it with water until it looks like weak tea, then soak the wound a couple times a day for 15 minutes or so. Then apply some regular old Neosporin (NOT the pain killing kind). I do need to ask - do you have any idea how he got the wound? is he housed with another beardie?

Nope, all by himself. And he's a dragon I rescued that had his tail but off.
I'm estimating 2 things, either he did it (bite, scrap etc.) or a cricket was hiding and got him.
