Please post a pic of him and his insect your feeding him --- its odd hes not hunting- how big of a tank do you have him in and have you tried feeding him in a small tote?

How long have you had him? That could be playing a role in it too.

Proper husbandry plays a massive role in their health and appetite also, so make sure if you haven't that you spend some time researching and reading around here to confirm your set up is proper.

I am going out today to get 1/4 crickets
I have a 40 gal tank right now
He is 6 inches nose to tip of tail
About one month old
Ive tried tongs he wont really eat from them
Or from his dish i have to place the bug infront of him and keep the bug there for him to eat he has decided since yesterday he didnt want to eat much at all so he hasent eaten yet today no matter what i try veggies fruit so i am going to get small crickets today for him i find bugs are fast to they scurry away he does not chase them
I havent tried a tote i was reading that some beardies dont like the switch just to eat that it can stress them out we had bath time yesterday and i tried to feel him on my bed he wasnt having any of that

What are you waiting for? Make sure your insects are no bigger than the space between his eyes- what have you tried to get him to the salad bowl? Bsfl are a great staple feeder and good lure to the salad bowl-

They were dormant- they need to be set out so they can warm up- keeping them in the fridge will keep.them from turning into flies but the flies can be fed- mealworms are not good for babies- do you have a digital probe thermometer-? You need that to get actual surface basking temps--

Once i got the 1/4 crickets hes eating those now he had a few when i brought them back but there so small hard to grab and they were able to get out of my cricket pen so that was great
He should be eating 20 -25 at one feeding-- I recommend you get dubia roaches and then you wont be finding crickets all over your house --- they are easier to care of last longer and fill them up faster --- if you want websites for them I will post - I would get a 10 gallon aquarium and set them up in that -- dubia food w / dubia dew/ crystals --

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
