im in the UK its pretty cold now, my beardie has slowed down a lot over the winter despite no change in temperatures in his Viv.
can Beardies somehow sense its winter so naturally becomes lazier?
Yeah. Adult beardies over 1 year old sometimes go into brumation (hybernation) around winter time. here is an article about brumation which is very helpful http://www.beardeddragon.org/articles/brumation/
If yours is still a baby/juvi then it probably wont be brumation. Mine is 8/9 months and slowed down over winter too
Pretty much. I removed the hide or she would have stayed there all day. She just sits in the same place all day or if i get her out she'll just want to cuddle up and sleep: think it might be their age as well :?
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
