to buy a flouresent bulb (like reptisun) holder? Can I buy them cheaper in other places besides petstores? What kind can I get?

You can use any T8 fluorescent light fixture, which you can get from any hardware store or big box store. The cheapest one I've seen is a 24" from Walmart for about $10.

I bought 6 of them at walmart 7.96 a piece. They work great and look nice. You can get them in black for a dollar of so more
