Where to buy???

Is there anyplace I can get a 40 gallon tank without spending $100? I've checked Petsmart, Petco, Target, Walmart. There are some on Craigslist but they go fast, I've missed out on two already.

Any suggestions?

yea the only way to get one cheaper than $100 is craigslist..or check your local pet stores and see if anyone has used ads hanging in the store somewhere..I bought a 20gal long w/lid for $25 from a pet store ad

Yep, craigslist or pet shops are your best bet. Not ones like PetSmart, but local ones.

I found a 75g for $75 in a pet shop around here. They just wanted to get rid of it. It even holds water, although I use it for reptiles.

Must be lucky, I just got a 40g breeder yesterday for free on CL too.

Petco just had their dollar a gallon sale , who knows how long it will be till the next one. lol.
