What uvb???

So im upgrading my beardies uvb to a tube and i was wondering if the Reptisun 5.0 T5 Bulb that comes with the 36" hood fixture can be used or if its strong enough.

Hi. Yes that'll work fine as long as there is nothing between it and your dragon. Is there a reflector it'll work just fine. You'll have to replace 6 months instead of yearly.

The t5 doesn't need to be replaced every 6 months. The t5 can go a year.

The 5.0 t5 that comes in that fixture is basically equivalent to a t8 10.0.

I would source a fixture somewhere else and buy the t5 10.0 separately.
Fixture and bulb can both be found on Amazon.
