What calcium supplement do you use?

I use Repcal w/D3 phospho free for calcium and herptivite for multivitamin.

Yes thats the one I would recommend however if your using a mercury vapor bulb for UVB I recommend the same brand minus the D3.

No worries ask away.That thermometer is ok but its not my favorite.I used this once and it wasnt as accurate as the ones I ave used after that although I cant tell you why.I think it had something to do with the color of the wire.I noticed the ones with black wire read faster and are closer to what my temp gun says.I personally now use the acurite digital indoor outdoor thermometer with probe and humidity from walmart.Its not a pet therm but it does work the best when discussing probe therms.Looks like this:

The first one is better because it measures basking,cool end and humidity all in one.

Cool I have a temp gun as well so I can compare the temps, and btw isn't that thermometer located at walmart?

Well if you have a temp gun then thats all you really need to check temps so its up to you.Some people do like having it there 24/7 but as long as you check it daily its fine to just use that.Of course when initially setting up the enclosure I would check at various times throughout the day until they are set.

Thats totally fine.I actually do that as well especially using the acu-rite because it reads the humidity as well plus its good for at a glance temps.
