Has her food changed recently? Does it smell worse than usual? It could just be an isolated incident of digestion issues. Keep an eye out to see if there are more like this or if they return to normal. If they continue to be unusual it may be worth having a sample tested.

I do give her different feeders. My staple is usually phoenix worms, but once a week I giver her a different feeder, like Dubia Roaches or Crickets which I gutload overnight. I also occasionally buy her a waxworm on the way home from the local pet shop to give her as a treat, but no more than once a week. I know they're fatty

The last time she had a different feeder was on Monday when I gave her Dubia Roaches. I did actually see some weird poops happening since I fed her those. Could it just have been an upset tummy? It's been about 2 days that I see them kind of 'soft' like that. She has eaten Dubia Roaches before from the same Dubia breeder I've always got them from with no issues in the past. I want to say that the poops do smell a bit stinkier, but to be completely honest, the only time I am given the wonderful opportunity to see and smell fresh poops is on the weekend. Usually when I get home I find her 2 poops already dried out in her tank. It just so happens last night I got home while this one will still mostly fresh. So I could just be paranoid and thinking that this poop is stinkier than usual...I don't know.

She hasn't come in any contact with any other reptiles whatsoever. I do in my home have a dog and 2 ferrets but they do not interact at all. The places where I get my crickets and roaches from do have reptiles present in their store but I'm sure they don't interact with their feeder supplies  I'm just so paranoid she might have worms or something like that, but her poops have had form to them. She hasn't had any straight up liquid diarrhea, and I don't see any undigested pieces.

She's my first herp, so I'm always overly cautious with anything that veers from the norm LOL :D

Quick Stats on her (don't know if this helps)
- Panini is a Female, 4 months old, eating about 40 phoenix worms a day.
- She's a good veggie eater. I feed her: Mustard/Collard Greens, Escarole,Summer/Butternut Squash, carrot and the occasional fruit (blueberries, mango, etc).
- 50 gal tank, Substrate: Stone Tile, UVB: Reptisun 10.0 17 watt, 24inch
- Temps: 95-105 on the hot side 80-85 on the cool side
- Eats around 7 AM when lights turn on and 7PM when I get home. Gets 2 hours under lights before dinner.
- 3-4 Baths a week, 15 minutes each bath.

Thanks for your help!

That all sounds very good to me. My guess is that it's just a digestion/upset stomach issue and will go away. If it does continue, say into next week, I'd get a sample checked out just for peace of mind. It's pretty quick and cheap.

Ok so semi freaking out here. Today, since I don't work weekends, is the first time I can see Panini's poops fresh and not all dried out. Poop #1 today was so weird! It had this wine colored sheen around it which terrified me that it might possibly be blood!

I took paper towel to further investigate it, but all seemed fine.

It was just poop with some pieces of what I assume is butternut squash. I haven't fed her any red foods, but I don't know if the orange of the squash could have led to the discoloration. I'm starting to freak out here...I'll wait for poop #2 later today. If it's weird again I think I'll be taking my poor baby to the vet :( any idea what this could be?

The color still looks food related to me. The consistency makes me think she is well hydrated, almost opposite of the earlier one. It still doesn't look quite right though. I suggest having a test done on it. It's quick, easy, and cheap to have done. Worth it for peace of mind or to begin treatment for any issues. You'll want to bring as fresh a sample as possible.

Yes, that is very possible. Happens from time to time. If they are normal now, that's great. Just keep an eye out for any further irregularities.

OK, 5 days of beautiful poop and here we are again.

Morning poop (I apologize, I took the picture when I got home...so it was out for a while).

Looks mostly normal, has form to it. Then I saw her freshest poop! IT WAS BLACK GOOP!

And yes, that's a piece of shed that landed in the goopy black poop. I'll keep monitoring her, but I know for sure this can't be normal.

Further inspection revealed it was mostly greens...but wow was this one a stinker!

It's the first time she's ever had a loose stool like this. I tend to change her type of green staple every few weeks or so because I want her to be used to them in case her favorite greens (Mustard Greens  ) are out of season. She's currently been on Escarole for the past week and a half as a staple. Today I added to the salad acorn squash, and yesterday was blueberries. She's also been steady on phoenix worms, and I haven't given her another type of feeder since Friday, almost a week ago. Any ideas what it could be?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
