ive had success with vermiculite when I first started breeding, but by far the past few seasons I have really liked to use hatchrite medium.
its easy and ive experienced better hatch rates with it.

I am a big fan of vermiculite. You are going to have a hard time finding pure vermiculite at your big box stores like H.D. or Lowes. Find a local mom and pop nursery and give them a call. They probably have it. If not, order online. It isnt heavy and isnt expensive to ship.

Ok thank you so much..Scarlet is due for another clutch here VERY soon..She's so big and has stopped eating as of today...
Here's a pic I just took...She had 24 last time..1 infertile, Not sure how her first clutch will pan out, we know that sometimes 1st clutches don't go well..but we'll see....We took all but the bare essentials out of her cage since she was having problems moving about....

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
