Hey can I clip my dragons nails? they are really painful and he seems to cling to everything too easily. they are the kind with black on top. just use regular human clippers and just take off a millimeter or so?

have you ever clipped a dogs toenails? It's sorta like that? You can clip them with people clippers, that's how I do Franklins nails. Just make sure you don't cut into the quick of his toenail or it could mess them up :D

I'd suggest putting a large natural stone rock in under the basking light. I did that in Ikrans enclosure and the rock sanded the tips back just slightly so they no longer hurt.

I just went to the lake and got a rock myself for that very purpose!!

Between the tile floor and his rock his nails are always kept nice and dull without the stress of clipping them.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
