I gotcha! Well, crickets are a bit tough to breed, but it can be done. I'm guessing your parents won't let you breed dubia roaches? They're a lot better and easier to breed.

Like... outside outside, or in a garage or shed? They need to be heated and fed, so I don't think the backyard would work too well. They're pretty awesome - they are tropical roaches that don't smell, don't bite, don't climb, and don't jump/fly. Just need to be in a rubbermaid tub with a screen for ventilation, water crystals and food, egg crates to hide in, and a human heating pad so it stays about 80-90F in the tank. Pretty easy.

How much does it cost to get the stuff to breed them?I may can talk my mom into it.Do you still have to buy crickets if you breed the roaches?

Well it takes a few months to get the colony up and running so you will need crickets. I think a guy here sells a starter colony for not too much.

That's really great that he lokes the turnip greens. Those are very nutritious and it's a good habit for your baby to develop early in life , a lot of owners have trouble getting their dragon to eat greens when they are young. So keep that up. As far as stress marks, most babies have them off + on, especially when they're young like that and in a new environment. It's pretty normal, don't worry too much.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
