Swollen joint?

Does the knee joint on the left side of the pic look swollen to anyone? Could it be mbd or gout? I should note my little beardie is shedding that thigh right now.

What are you using for a UVB? You mentioned MBD-- brand and bulb coil or tube?

It's a reptisun t high output 10.0 tube uvb.

Ok good and where in the tank is the UVB -- is it a T 8 or a T 5? It will say on the bulb itself

It's above the tank, and I believe a t5. I'd have to check later.
If it helps, the last time I got blood work done, it came back totally fine on calcium levels.

Update, yup it's a t 5.

There is a mesh screen, which I know, takes away some of the uv, but that's why I got the high output one after the advice of another admin here.

As long as the screen is wide holed like a dime if its a fine mesh it should be inside the tank --
