How do I make sure this coating isn't on the bulb? Is it always listed? Do I have to have a clear bulb or is a "soft white" okay?

I think basking bulbs will always have Neodymium listed on them, but I don't know about household bulbs. I believe the beardie-safe ones are Bright White and Clear. Soft White is okay for extra lighting (actually I have a 40W soft white for the cool side of my big guy's viv), but those don't get bright enough to use for basking.
And I'm pretty sure those "Reveal" types have neodymium, but I'm not sure if it says it on the packaging or not. :study:

Thanks. I heard some clear bulbs were coated with neodymium to make them brighter, which would be a problem. But I guess it would be on the package.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
