stuffed animals?

I have noticed a lot of pics the beardie has a stuffed animal in their cage... do they really seem to enjoy them, or is it just over the top? (no offense anyone - i think it is cute )

I thought it was weird, until I tried it. I do find my bearie cuddled on hers sometimes. I also thought the beardie burrito ( wrapping your beardie in a blanket ) was strange too, until I did it. My beardie stays in her burrito over night. Chris

I personally don't have any stuffed animals in Rex's tank, but when she is out on the bed she always snuggles into the pillows. I think they like the secure feeling of something to get in or up against. Mine sleeps with a blanket at night and she nuzzles herself right in.

Well sounds like I will be adding a stuffed animal to mugatu's cage tonight! too bad I'm not good at sweing, I'm sure he'd love derek zoolander or a hansel pillow :laughing6:

I would wash them regularly...sounds like a breeding ground for bacteria, particularly under such warm temperatures.

Of course! I wouldn't leave dirty toys and blankets in a tank anymore than I would leave them in my kids bed. Washing machines are great.
